6.    Also, verify that the Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2 are not checked.

7.    Click Ok and then close the Internet Explorer window.

8.   Now restart your system and try downloading the QuickBooks payroll update again. The QuickBooks payroll update error 15215 should resolve, however, if it persists then reboot Windows in selective startup mode.                                        

 

Step 4. Restart the Windows in Selective Startup Mode

 

1.    First and foremost, close the QuickBooks application.

2. Now open the Run dialogue box by pressing Windows + R keys simultaneously.

3.   Type MSConfig and hit Enter.

4.    Now the System configuration utility window opens, go to the General tab and click Selected startup.

5.      Checkmark the Load startup items and click Ok.
