The error appears on the screen with a message saying "couldn't load the license data" or "couldn't initialize license properties." The QuickBooks error code 3371 occurs when the entitlementDataStore.ECML file (containing the license properties) gets damaged. Have you also experienced a similar issue? Don't worry about it as we have got you covered in this article.

How the error 3371 appears on the screen?

1.  There could be a possibility of missing the QBregistration.DAT file. It contains the license information, which is scanned by Intuit whenever it gets active.

2.   Sometimes, while cloning the data on the C drive to a new hard drive, the problem may occur. To fix this issue, you will need to delete the entitlement file and re-enter the license information.
